Here’s what’s new from Gentle Giant for August 2013. We’ve got four exciting new items to announce this time around:
– Imperial Snowtrooper (Hoth Battle Gear) Kenner Jumbo – The Hoth cycle continues as we bring you the Imperial Snowtrooper! The iconic villainous footsoldier from The Empire Strikes Back is sure to be a hit with fans and toy collectors alike.
– Yoda Hoth Statue – Unveiled at SDCC, the companion piece to last month’s Padme Amidala Statue was easily one of the most talked about reveals at the show. Many collectors and critics approached me to tell me personally how they think this is one of the best renderings of the character in a collectable format that they’ve seen.
– Boba Fett Holiday Special Animated Maquette – This is another surprise unveil at SDCC that garnered a lot of buzz. It’s not often you see products based on the 1979 Star Wars Holiday Special, and it’s sure to be a hit with hardcore Star Wars fans of all ages.
– Daryl Dixon Walker Ear Prop Replica with Display Case – This exciting new entry into our line of prop replicas is certainly gruesome. Horror fans and cosplayers alike are already clamoring for it.

Just like they were when you were a kid, only BIGGER! Gentle Giant is proud to bring you their new line of vintage Kenner inspired Star Wars Action Figure reproductions with the release of the classic Imperial Soldier in Hoth Battle Gear figure.
Digitally scanned from mint 3 ¾” Kenner originals and reproduced at a Jumbo size, no detail has been overlooked. Injection molded and made of durable plastics, this jumbo figure includes a faithfully reproduced blaster and comes fully articulated!
With a commitment to keep in line with the vintage Kenner experience, Gentle Giant has packaged this figure with an Empire Strikes Back-inspired backer card featuring original photos and artwork. Designed with the collector in mind, the figure comes in a resealable plastic outer clam shell to help protect and display this limited edition figure.

Digitally sculpted using footage from the one of the few remaining intact copies of the Special as reference, this dramatic piece features a very different look for one of the most iconic film characters of all time.
