One of the companies your friendly neighborhood jman was looking forward to seeing the most at Toy Fair 2014 was Diamond Select.  And, believe you me, they did not disappoint!  Zach Oat was kind enough to take us around their showroom.  So…to you, I present, the highlights of said tour:

Minimates.  I love the Minimates.  And Diamond Select continues to expand the line with new  figures from Walking Dead, Sin City, Jay and Silent Bob (yup!  They had Buddy Christ on display!), Godzilla, Ghostbusters, Aliens and…Pulp Fiction.

Speaking of Sin City, Diamond Select has three new Select figures coming out in time for Sin City 2Marv, Hartigan and Nancy.

They also have a plethora of new figures from Plants v Zombies:  Garden Warfare video game.  The coolest one being the Zombie Scientist.

Diamond Select’s Universal Studios Monsters series continues with 3 figures for 2014.  Son of Frankenstein, a newly sculpted Creature from the Black Lagoon and a Diamond Select original Van Helsing figure.

The Marvel Select line expands this coming spring just in time for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America:  Winter SoldierThe Amazing Spider-Man coming with a bunch of accessories, including the NYFD helmet.  Mine will be wearing that helmet all the time.

Cap and the Falcon round out the figures for The Winter Soldier.

Ships are the name of the game for Diamond’s Star Trek line.  Expect a new USS Excelsior for 2014, as well as, the Enterprise A.  Oh, and a new “classic” phaser.

Godzilla makes a big splash (get it?!?!? Big splash?!?!?  No?) in 2014 with new Godzilla Classic banks, just in time to celebrate it’s 60th anniversary.  Yes…that one Godzilla is “on fire”.

Speaking of banks, Diamond Select expands that line, as well.  With new Walking Dead banks, Watusi Batman, and burnt Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, just to name a few.

What got me the most excited?  That Van Helsing figure, the Falcon, Spidey and all those awesome Minimates
