Comics And Comics is seven very different stand-up comedians, all bringing their respective comedy styles together for one hilarious celebration of all things geek.
The show has appeared at the San Diego ComicCon, Anime Expo, The Geek Week Festival in Boston, Stan Lee’s Comikaze, Wondercon, and the Long Beach Horror and Comic Con. Comics and Comics has been featured on NPR’s “Marketplace” and was recently named the Editor’s Pick in the Ventura County Reporter’s Best of Entertainment. Craveonline.com called the show one of the “10 can’t miss panels and events” at the 2013 Long Beach Comic & Horror Con.
Comics And Comics also appears monthly at their home club, Hypno Comics in Ventura. Each show is a standing room only event with a great crowd, special guest comedians, and free beer.
The group, formed by veteran comedian (and world-renowned collector of Japanese toy robots) Tom Franck, has been performing together across Southern California for five years. Comics And Comics is Asterios Kokkinos, Ed Greer, Joe Starr, Ron Swallow, Sax Carr, Tim Powers, and Tom Franck.
