Salt Lake Comic Con (http://saltlakecomiccon.com/) announced today that Ron Perlman, Ian Ziering and Eric Roberts will join an already robust guest list at Salt Lake Comic Con 2014 on September 4-6, 2014.

The second Salt Lake Comic Con will take place September 4-6, 2014 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City.

Perlman is a TV, film and voice actor best known for his roles as Vincent in the TV series Beauty and the Beast (for which he won a Golden Globe), as Hellboy in the 2004 Hellboy movie, the 2008 sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army and as Clarence “Clay” Morrow in the hit TV series Sons of Anarchy.

“We’re excited to welcome Ron Perlman to Salt Lake Comic Con,” said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Founder and Show Producer. “He’s played so many roles in so many fan favorites and has been a mainstay with voice roles in animated series such as Ironman, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman and Teen Titans that he is a favorite of fans of all ages.”

Ziering starred in Sharknado, a made for TV movie that features a tornado made of water that lifts sharks out of the ocean and dumps them on the streets of Los Angeles, flooding the city with man eating sharks. In addition to Sharknado, Ziering is best known for his role as Steve Sanders in the 1990’s teen drama Beverly Hills 90210.

Roberts was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in King of the Gypsies. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe and Academy Award for his supporting role in Runaway Train. Most recently he is known for his recurring role on NBC’s hit series Heroes. There will be a special screening of Roberts’s new movie, LA Slasher on September 4, 2014 at the Gateway Megaplex Theaters. LA Slasher is a biting, social satire about reality TV and the glorification of people who are famous for simply being famous.

“Sharknado quickly gained a cult following and became a huge fan favorite and we’re thrilled to have Ian Ziering join us at Salt Lake Comic Con,” said Bryan Brandenburg, Salt Lake Comic Con Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer. “We know our fans are in for a real treat with the opportunity to see the special screening of LA Slasher. Eric Roberts is so prolific and so recognizable for the many roles he’s played that we’re confident LA Slasher will be a real hit at our convention. Adding Perlman, Ziering and Roberts makes an already stellar guest list even more exciting. ”

This year’s event is expected to draw more than 120,000 attendees and is already the most attended event ever to take place at the Salt Palace Convention Center as well as the largest first year comic con in North American history. VIP tickets are sold out, but Gold, Multipass and single day tickets are still available. To find out more about Salt Lake Comic Con or to buy tickets, visit the Salt Lake Comic Con website.
