Eight young artists are chosen from the crowd to pit their scribbles against one another in a series of improvisational drawing quests. Do you have the courage to doodle silly things for a crowd? Will the crowd have the imagination necessary to help you conquer the quests and ultimately win the coveted Scribble Scramble championship belt? Eight contenders enter. One leaves as champion. Your doodling destiny awaits.

In this amazing hands-on workshop comics author Alex Simmons demonstrates how to explore and create superheroes and villains using the boundless regions of science and the imaginative realm of comics. Kids will discuss the powers and abilities of popular comic book characters, and then create their own.

For many comic creators, pencils and paper are the tools of the past. Writer and artist, Tim Fielder demonstrates how technology has advanced the process of making comics and cartoons.

Light Saber Training with Jedi Master Jongal

Learn the ancient techniques of the light saber in this fun and safe workshop lead by Jedi Master Jongal of the Dagobah system.

Cartoon Beach Party with Mike Lopez

Join educator & co-creator of “Life’s A Beach”, Mike Lopez, for this fun workshop where you will learn to draw your favorite cartoon characters, as well make-up your own. Participants will learn the tricks of the trade to create their own comic strips.
