With Special Guest Mark Badger

Hero Initiative, the charity that helps comic book creators in medical and financial need, will be attending Wizard World Sacramento June 17-19 at the Sacramento Convention Center.

And Hero is proud to host artist Mark Badger for all three days at the con! Mark has worked on superhero comics such as Batman: Jazz, Batman: Run Riddler Run, and Dr. Strange, and has even just finished an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. Make sure you stop by our booth to see Mark!

Mark has two great panels as well: “Comics, Computers, and Kirby on Friday at 6 p.m. and “Mark Badger’s Just Draw 101” on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Swing by to get entertained and educated at the same time!

And Hero Initiative Ambassadors on the floor will be helping to raise money for Hero as well. Please swing by and visit Gerhard, Scott Koblish, and Paolo Rivera. Check them out!

About The Hero Initiative

The Hero Initiative is the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for yesterday’s creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. It’s a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment.

Since its inception, The Hero Initiative has had the good fortune to grant over $950,000 to the comics’ veterans who have paved the way for those in the industry today. For more information, visitwww.heroinitiative.org or call 626-676-6354.
