Comic Review: The Hellblazer #7 (DC Comics)

Constantine is in Paris this issue on his hunt for the Djinn but he’s not the only one on the hunt

John and Mercury are on their way to meet a bit of a legend when it comes to Djinn but on the way, Mercury is knocked over by a bike but when she reads the riders mind she realizes that they are heading to the same place!

Unbeknownst to our duo, a gang is looking to rob the man they are going to see and get there first! But one would be robber ends up getting a little more than he bargained for. There was no gold or anything worth stealing just a stubborn old man and with Constantine quickly making his way towards them the gang cut their losses and flee, Dante gets held back and given a dying gift before having to escape johns clutches.

John gives chase through the window but can’t quite get his hands in Dante and ends up in a rather difficult situation instead, it will be interesting to see how he gets out of this one!

Dantes new ‘gift’ could have serious repercussions for the story and is quite a hurdle for Constantine to overcome if he is to keep going after the Djinn
