The wolves are literally at the door of Ladycastle this issue, werewolves at that!

King Meridor is struggling with the pressure of her new-found position and I don’t blame her, she has become ruler of a castle besieged by curses of the nature that they don’t what it is that will attack them next. This issue its werewolves which leads them to the library to research a way to fight them and protect Ladycastle and if possible without killing the werewolves (well they are only wolves part of the time)

In the library, they find yet another oppressed female cast aside by man simply because she was in a wheelchair but of course, she is far stronger now and in this female-led castle she can flourish as never before and is placed into the carpenter shop so she can help fight off the curses.

Gwyneff is finding it difficult to find her role as she is too young to fight but old enough to want to. She is also struggling with the loss of her parents and thinks that everyone else has forgotten them. King Merinor makes sure to show her that that is not the case and after they deal with the werewolves a funeral is held for the recently departed menfolk.

Aeve again is the fearless warrior who as it all looks lost she takes it on herself to lead the wolves away and trap them in quite the heroic way as you would expect from Aeve. No real rest is given though as it is Gwyneff and Aeve who inadvertently discover the next wave of attackers….. Have to read it to find out what.
