Hero Initiative, the non-profit that aids comic book creators in medical and financial need, is heading to Kansas City, Mo. for Planet Comicon, April 28-30 at the Bartle Hall Convention Center.
Artist Greg Land, best known his work on Uncanny X-Men, Birds of Prey and Fantastic Four will be at the Hero booth, #1030, all weekend! Make sure you stop by and get a sketch or your books signed!
And Hero Initiative Ambassadors across the con floor will be collecting for our cause when you get your books signed, so make sure ay them a visit! The Hero Initiative is the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. Hero creates a financial safety net for yesterday’s creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work.
