Toys, comics, food, and beer.

Five Points Festival isn’t your average comic con. It was almost more of an art show. It covered the world of designer toys and quite honestly very interesting.

The show started off on Friday night with the Designer Toy Awards, hosted by Morgan Spurlock, noted documentary filmmaker and art toy enthusiast. Saturday is when the actual festival started. It was a lot of fun.

It was a good size show with a nice artist alley as well. It was very well organized and the toys were very cool. There were larger names like DC Collectible and Super7 and a lot of smaller companies as well.

Outside of the festival were various food trucks and there was a beer garden too. Toys and beer do go together while well.

I can’t recommend the Five Points Festival enough.
