Sweet Christmas! Minimates have given the devil his due!

Diamond Select has nailed it once again with Minimates based on the Marvel shows on Netflix. This time around we got a 4 four pack from Daredevil season 2 and Luke Cage.

The Daredevil set includes Stairwell Daredevil, Elektra, Karen Page, and Stick. The Stairwell Daredevil is after he was chained up by the Punisher and had a gun taped to his hand. He comes with a gun taped to his hand and a chain attached to his other hand. Both accessories are removable and there’s an extra hand. His face is bloody, and he comes with some hair that kind of looks like he’s got helmet head. Elektra comes in her pseudo-costume, 2 sais, and a second head that covers her mouth. Karen Page comes with a laptop, a file on Frank Castle AKA the Punisher, and x-ray of Frank. And Stick comes with a head with his hat, a head with sunglasses, a regular head, hair, a walking stick, and sword.

Luke Cage comes with Luke Cage, Cottonmouth, Misty Knight, and Mariah Dillard. The is the 2nd Luke we’ve gotten and it’s worth it. Luke comes with a hoodie, a hood, a head with the “tiara”, hair, and bare chest and arms. Cottonmouth comes with a gun. Misty Knight comes with a gun and an extra hand holding her badge. Mariah doesn’t come with any accessories, but that’s OK.

As always with Minimate, the amount of extra pieces and the multiple points of articulation are impressive as always. I also think that the faces on these Minimates really do look like the actors. The Luke Cage looks like Mike Colton, and Stick looks like Scott Glenn. It’s details like this that really set these packs apart. Highly impressive as always.

As always, I can’t recommend these packs enough. Minimate collector, Marvel fan, or a fan of the Netflix shows, these are definitely a must have.
