As previously announced, Zazie Beetz will be playing the character of Domino in DEADPOOL 2, and Ryan Reynolds gave us a first look via Twitter

As you first look at this picture, you can see they are trying to keep the same silly tone that the first Deadpool had. There are some things that do bother me though. I wish they would have made the mark over her eye black. The white just pops too much for me. Second Domino’s entire look here screams blaxploitation character. Now that one I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt as that’s what they might be going for and it would certainly fit the tone of the film. Either way, I’m not totally knocking it, but first impressions do matter.
Now I can’t say I’m familiar with actress Zazie Beetz, so I really can’t say anything else about her. But I do trust the people involved with this sequel. So while Beetz version might be different from the comic version, I think she’ll fit right in.
Domino was created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Rob Liefeld. In the comics, Domino is a highly mercenary. Excellent hand to hand combatant. And a superb markswoman. She’s also a mutant with the power to change the odds in her favor. Or to simplify it, the power of luck.
I’m going to save final judgment until the film actually comes out in June 2018. Personally, I can’t wait!
