Hasbro brings Netflix Marvel characters to action figure form.

In the Netflix second season of Daredevil, we didn’t just get a new costume for Daredevil, but the Punisher was introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since this was a huge hit, Marvel gave the go-ahead for Hasbro to produce Marvel Legend action figures based on Daredevil and Punisher.

Starting off with Daredevil, we are looking at an amazing sculpt here. There’s lots of detail here in the costume. Hasbro did an excellent job here. The head sculpt is pretty cool too. They even included the five-o’clock shadow he always seems to have. Like Marvel Legends, there is a full range of motion, so you can pose him in just about any position you want to.

Daredevil comes with his billy club which is in two sections. The two sections and be put together for one longer billy club. Plus both parts fit easily and securely in his side holster. Daredevil with an extra set of hands that are fists. A really nice plus here.

Punisher is just as amazing. There’s not a lot of detail to his costume, but there doesn’t need to be. He wears black pants, boots, shirt with a skull, and a top coat. Simple but it works so well. The head sculpt is very impressive. It really does look like actor Jon Bernthal. Hasbro also made the Punisher’s looks like he’s been in a fight or two. Some scrapes and scratches. As always, it’s these small details that count.

The Punisher comes with two weapons: a pistol and a machine gun with a grenade launcher on it. The weapons fit easily into either hand, so you can him hold both.

Both figures come with Man-Thing build-a-figure parts. Daredevil comes with Man-Thing’s head, while Punisher comes with is left arm. You have to buy the entire series to build Man-Thing.

These are great figures and I do hope that Hasbro continues to give us more figures from the Netflix series. We already have Electra and Jessica Jones in the same series with Daredevil and Punisher. Personally, I’m hoping for Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Stick.

Daredevil and Punisher are available in stores now.
