The Child Play series gets a new treatment called Cult of Chucky.

Now before I get into the movie let me say I have watched every one of the Chucky series that there is. The series pickup after the curse of Chucky end. Nica is sent to a mental institution for 4 years and during that time Andy (last seen in the curse of Chucky end credit with another Chucky doll about to attack him) is now torturing just his head to find out what he is up to.

After a few deaths, Nica decides to try and defended herself from Chucky, while we find out that Andy has also found out what Chucky is up to and is heading out to save Nica. Without going into spoilers let me say that there is a lot of bloody deaths and even more question (and we see Jennifer Tilly and Christine Elise as Kyle). The ending set up for another Child’s play/Chucky sequel.

The stars of the movie are Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce (from Curse of Chucky), Michael Therriault as Dr. Foley, Adam Hurtig as Multiple Malcolm, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay (from Child’s Play (1988), Child’s Play 2 (1990), Curse of Chucky (2013)) , Elisabeth Rosen as Madeleine, Grace Lynn Kung as Claire, Marina Stephenson Kerr as Angela, Zak Santiago as Nurse Carlos, Ali Tataryn as Nurse Ashley, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine(from Bride of Chucky (1998), Seed of Chucky (2004), Curse of Chucky(2013) and Cult of Chucky(2017)) Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, Summer H. Howell as Alice Pierce And Christine Elise as Kyle(from Child’s Play 2 (1990)). So, in my opinion, I felt that these new Chucky series are getting better and better.
