Wow! Don’t really need to say anything else. Fantastic issue of a fantastic run so far.
Poor Batman, he really is fighting a losing battle against unbelievable odds! No not the horde of tongueless silent soldiers of the pit that his ex-has set on him and his new girlfriend Catwoman, that’s an everyday occurrence for Batman he can fight them in his sleep, rather the minefield he has to negotiate trying not to say the wrong thing to Catwoman who is revelling in making him squirm!
It’s such a pleasure to see Batman flustered and clumsy when he’s around Catwoman as he is always so Stoic and sure of himself everywhere else and Catwoman cuts straight through it all, brilliantly written.
Another brilliant interaction is Damian informing Superman EXACTLY how he would kill him as if Superman couldn’t crush him quicker than he could blink. Damian and Dick share a touching, brotherly moment together as well which is a nice touch for the action-packed issue.
The action doesn’t look to be slowing down any either as the finale fight seems to be building in epicness in each issue and the next is an absolute classic showdown that I cannot wait to see
