Just as Cassie feels like a normal life is in reach slasher life rears its head!
Cassie doesnt accept help easily even from a newly returned Vlad and she almost pays a very dear price for her stubbornness. Laurie and Vlad chip in as Cassie prepares to take on Dr Chase and his slasher even if it is just to NOT watch TV with her but ultimately Cassie will do her own thing.
Its no secret that I love Hack slash but its easy to see why, the storys are well written and beautifully drawn and there are levels upon levels of stuff going on when it could quite easily just go the easy route and concentrate on killing slashers.
Monstrous Vlad really seems to have found his place as camp councillor which should be just a ridiculous notion but actually feels right for the story. I love how Cassie bases her entire plan on an episode of tv she watched and totally believes that proves it will work no matter how ridiculous it seems to get.
Another brilliant issue full of a perfect mix of action and humour and doesnt look to be letting up for the next issue.
