Most comic book adaption has a hit or miss to it when it’s in movies, some comic adaption when made for tv for the most of the time would miss (a few exceptions are Arrow, Flash, and the Tick) but Happy! was, to me, a surprising hit in my opinion

Happy! is an American television crime dramedy series based on the four-issue 2012–13 comic book series of the same name created by writer Grant Morrison and artist Darick Robertson. Syfy has renewed it for a second season.

The story is about Nick Sax an alcoholic ex-cop turned hitman who lives his days with drugs and cynicism, who finds out has a daughter Hailey Hansen and was kidnapped, and it’s up to him and his new partner Happy!, an imaginary friend of his daughter who resemble small, blue, goofy cartoonish winged horse.

This is one show not for kids and the performances from Chis Meloni and Patton Oswalt was well unique and different. The stars of the show are Christopher Meloni as Nick Sax, Ritchie Coster as Francisco Scaramucci, Lili Mirojnick as Det. Meredith “Merry” McCarthy, Medina Senghore as Amanda Hansen, Bryce Lorenzo as Hailey Hansen, Patrick Fischler as Smoothie, Patton Oswalt as the voice of Happy and Joseph D. Reitman as Very Bad Santa, Christopher Fitzgerald as Louis Sheinberg “Sonny Shine”, and to Blue as “Mr. Bug”, Debi Mazar as Isabella Scaramucci and Gus Halper as Michaelangelo “Mikey” Scaramucci.
