The Flash takes center stage this time around in the LEGO DC Super Heroes franchise.

The Flash is late, as usual, to an emergency for the Justice League. In trying to get there quickly, Flash runs faster than usual and ends up creating a time loop. He keeps repeating the same day again and again. This causes him to be disconnected to the Speed Force. The Flash then has to go on a quest to get back the Speed Force. Meanwhile, Reverse-Flash is making Flash’s name bad and passing himself off as a hero. Reverse-Flash even shows up the Justice League. Can the Flash get back his powers before Reverse-Flash takes everything from him? You’ll just have to watch to see.

I love these LEGO DC Super Hero films. The entire series is great for all ages. There plenty for kids while have all these Easter Eggs for adults. And this one is no exception. It was great to see the focus on the Flash as most of them have been mainly Batman.

James Arnold Taylor once again voices the Flash and he does this great job. The hyperness in his voice really fits this version of the Flash.

Dwight Schultz, of A-Team fame, does a great job as Reverse-Flash. Such ego and villainy in his voice works so well.

My personal favorite has to be Kevin Michael Richardson as Dr. Fate. He voices Fate as this funky, “sexy”, 70’s like character. It’s hilarious but works so well.

The rest the cast does a great job as well.

There are no extras on the Blu-Ray/DVD combo which is kind of a shame, but it’s not a deal breaker. It’s still a fun movie.

I can’t recommend this movie enough. I really hope Warner Bros continues these films as they just fun for all ages.

LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash is available on DVD, Blu-Ray, and digital download everywhere today.
