Image Comics brings you a new comic series related to the seven deadly sins in Sacred Creatures on its first volume.
This graphic novel is a whole different story but somehow it’s much more different than any other stories that you’ve ever read before. However, there’s is just only a human being who finds himself feeling very weird from time to time. But what I can tell is that the main character which is a young grad student in New York was being manipulated by someone who never met and gives him some strange power that he never realized. Like what is it? Midichlorians? Or a Spider Bite? No, but this time he is starting to see some strange shit during his lifestyle.
First of all, I find it how strange the world is it now in a life of a young grad student. However, in his daily life as a New Yorker, he met a strange woman who touched his hand and gave him some strange disease through his veins. But after a few days, he felt like he’s seeing shit and somehow he met a boy unfamiliar to him and gave him a mission to kill someone. And right after that, everything happened when people and creatures are falling down from the sky. I mean there is no other explanation to all of this, but this graphic novel is giving some weird vibes, the disease, these monsters and some other fantasy-themed comic innuendos.
My thoughts about this comic, is that it almost related to any other source that I discover not so long ago, like Static Shock, where Virgil Hawkins got affect by some strange gas and giving him some power of electricity on the next day, Superman who actually uses his Kryptonian powers to fight for justice, or Wade Wilson from Deadpool, who literary volunteered to be tested if the scientists get rid of the disease, but after that, he’s immortal, his appearance became shit and became Deadpool to have the audience crack up with some dirty jokes. Here on this comic, the main character suffers from some disease, became a criminal for stealing and killed someone with a stone dagger, fought with some strange cats, weird happenings at the hospital and the city. I mean this whole comic is not normal and has another story behind it, you have to be insane to come up with this kind of fantasy genre. The story is quite too random to come up with such ideas like this because all of this fantasy and horror stories that I’ve read, this comic is much more than that, even so, humanity’s fate goes to the grad student where he finds a way to restore it or die. The art is amazing, nonetheless that this is a fantasy comic, everything that I witnessed is very real to me. If you rather find a suitable fantasy comic to read, then this comic is just for you.
