Batsie Batsie Batsie!

Inspired by the comic convention, DC Artists Alley is a limited edition vinyl statues based on the artist’s interpretation of the character. This set created by Nooligan Saulque takes a flavor from the past and puts a present-day touch on it from the artist whom some have referred to as an old soul trapped in a young body.

The statues include Batman holding a Batarang, today’s comic it couple Joker with playing cards, and Harley Quinn with her signature bat. Also included is artist drawing of each character.  Limited to 3000 statues these will go quick.

Giving comic artists another outlet to bring their work into the public eye through vinyl statues is a great idea for DC Collectibles. With so many artists out there with different styles, it is nice to see something extravagant as the golden age type characters Nooligan created. Its Beetle Bailey meets Batman in the modern age. This style is differentiated by the circular non-pupil eyes and is well known in the funny pages of Sunday’s newspapers back in the day. There are 3 different exclusives for these including the black and white versions. What also makes them stand out is the price point of $40 dollars. Inexpensive and unique grab these while they last.
