This is a really interesting comic, it shies away from the usual heroicness of the superheroes and shows something we don’t usually get to see in them, vulnerability.

Whatever happened at The Sanctuary has obviously affected everyone as well as bleeding into other titles which shows the scale of the event. Harley Quinn and Booster Gold are both convinced of the others guilt while still doubting their own innocence and you see them struggle with that dilemma as well as the loss of close friends.

Harleys story is especially poignant as we see her playfully annoy Poison Ivy at the start in a scene which beautifully sums up their relationship then follow her as she deals with the aftermath. It is, however, the worry that the ‘Big 3’ are going through that really drives home the seriousness of this, when Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman are worried THEN its a problem and boy are they worried.

I cannot wait to see how this unfolds it’s maybe not as action packed as we may be used to but the amazing storytelling means that it is easily one of the most powerful stories out there!
