In a galaxy not so far far away, S.H. Figuarts continues to give us AMAZING renditions of the characters to the Skywalker Saga.

The Anakin Skywalker from Episode III has been a fan demanded figure for this line since they announced the prequel figures back at SDCC a few years back. It has taken them a few years but the wait was worth it. Anakin is (like all the other S.H. Figuarts) highly detailed and super articulated. This figure packed with extra hands, two swappable faceplates, and a lightsaber. The facial scan for Hayden Christensen was pretty spot on with the exception of the angry screaming face.

Upon taking the figure out of the box I noticed no paint errors on any of the body, hands, or faceplates. I did think that one of the heads had some paint error until I realized it was Anakin’s Sith eyes. Once I realized that is what the plate was I got super excited because it is that attention to detail that makes the SHF figures so fun. I also enjoy the range of motion that this figure has. Anakin has many poses in this film that the Hasbro Black Series figure just cannot pull off. The extra articulation combined with the hands and faceplates make this figure have endless amounts of fun each time you dust your shelves.

Now the S.H. Figuarts brand has been releasing many figures from all the movies in the Star Wars Universe.  Later this year we will see the Episode IV Princess Leia figure. Early next year we will have the Episode III Obi-Wan and Episode II Count Dooku.  Obi-Wan is very anticipated by the fans to be able to recreate the epic battle in Episode III.

Now getting into this line now may be pricey since a few of these figures are pricey on the secondary markets, however, do not let that discourage you. These action figures are very worth it! JQ gives the Episode III Anakin Skywalker an 8 out of 10.
