With some hot properties under their belt, Bandai makes a great showing at Toy Fair

We swung by the Bandai booth and was happily surprised.  Bandai is continuing with the Big Hero 6 TV show toys. They all looked really cool. The sculpts are a little closer to the TV show than the movie, but it makes sense. This line is great because it’s just right for all ages.

Next up was Godzilla. Seriously impressed here. Some of them were from the classic films, while others look a little more modern. Loved them.

Then there was the Dragonball Z line. I can’t say I’m familiar with the storyline at all, but I do know of it. The 6-inch figures all had more than 16 points of articulation. But the really impressive thing here was the sculpts. They are on par with other companies like Hasbro.  There will also be a line of 5-inch figures, with what seems to be a similar articulation of the 6-inch. And finally the 12 and 13-inch figures. 5 points of articulation, but the sculpts again are the impressive part.

Bandai is also bringing back the Tamagotchi. I never I really had one, but I always thought they were a cool concept.

Finally, Bandai has teamed up with The Loyal Subjects. 3.25″ blind bag figures with about 15 points of articulation. And licenses such as Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and more.

Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
