Aquaman continues to impress, and issue 46 of this DC title has some powerful moments.

The continuing story arc of Aquaman leads us to a confrontation between powerful forces. In case it’s slipped your mind, Aquaman still has amnesia, is trapped on Namma’s island, and needs to protect Caille. It’s battle time! The mother of all gods!

Strongly conceived, this part four of five. Written by Kelly Sue DeConnick, illustrated by Robson Rocha, inked by Daniel Henriques, coloured by Sunny Cho. Memorable visuals, with a script that’s gripping. Put some salt in your comic diet this week!

Variant cover by comic legend Esteban Maroto!

DC Comics, Aquaman #46, $3.99 for 22 pages of content. Teen rating

About Alan Spinney

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
