“Get this man a shield”

Captain America showing up in Avengers: Infinity War, looking worn and ragged, was quite the different look for him. You tell he’s been on the run since the events of Captain America: Civil War and his costume has seen better days. Removed from his iconic shield, his friend Black Panther was able to provide him two new ones to help the fight against Thanos. Diamond Select has now captured the look in their latest Marvel Select action figure.

Let me start off by saying this figure is just awesome. The huge level of detail here is incredible. The costume looks it’s seen some mileage, and some of the colors have been faded and dirtied. The paint apps are just great. You can even see some rips and ware around the star on Cap’s chest. That’s good sculpting right there. The face sculpt really looks like actor Chris Evans right down to his facial foliage.

The figure has 18 points of articulation, which includes articulation in the wrists. There are so many possible poses you can do with this figure. Like most of the Marvel Selects, Cap stands at about 7″ tall so he fits in perfectly with your collection.

Cap comes with 4 sets of hands. These are very easy to switch around, and yet still stay snug once they are in. A lot of mixing and matching you can do with those.

He comes with: 2 sets of shields. One set closed and one set ready for battle. You just have to remove the hands and then the shield slips around the forearm. The closed shields look like bracers. But my favorite has the be the battle ready shields. They have a middle blade that you can push out, just like the film! I love that!

Finally, Cap comes with a base he can stand on. I assume it’s grassland in Wakanda. The figure is perfectly balanced so you don’t need the base, but it does have 2 pegs you can put Cap on.

Like I stated before this figure is awesome. It truly looks like it jumped right out of the movie. You need this for your collection!
