“Looks like you’ve copied my beard. By the way, this is a friend of mine, the tree.”

One of the highlights of Avengers: Infinity War had to be when Thor got his new hammer, Stormbreaker. The other had to be the teen angst version of Groot. Diamond Select was kind enough to give us a wonderful two pack.

This is a new Thor sculpt and it’s lovely sculpt. There are a lot of details in the sculpt and it looks like Chris Hemsworth, right down to a scar over his eye like the character in the film. The figure has about 16 points of articulation and the cape does restrict movement a little.

Thor also comes with 4 sets of hands. These hands are easy to remove on and off the figure. And of course Thor’s new hammer, Stormbringer. Stormbringer fits snuggly in Thor’s hands. I really love the paint apps are great on this figure. There are traces of dirt on his hands and face. It really adds a nice touch.

The pack also comes with the teenage version of Groot. Again, another incredible figure. Skinny and lanky, but still the figure has 16 points of articulation. The sculpt is super impressive here. It looks like the sticks are wrapped together. I especially love the look on his face. So much teen angst here. He comes with a handheld game which fits in his hands nicely.

These two just go great together. These are a must buy and another hit for Diamond Select!
