Ugh, just one page in and I hate High Level (the place not the comic!). Thank your supervisor for letting you work and you might get more work LOL.
Another strong issue of this brilliant comic Thirteen is such a good character, she looks good and is a total badass. Minnow has some hidden talents of her own too which could get very interesting. I am kind of hoping they don’t get home and the pair just travel together for a while.
I love the story of this but its the artwork that really shines it is just amazing dystopian futures have never looked so good. The opening panel made you really feel the distance they had come over the desert and when Minnow opens the supply crate, just wow! The characters are great too and now Thirteen has yet another baddie to contend with an entrance the envy of bad guys all over The Outlands!
Thirteen looks to be in trouble next issue but I have a feeling she’s going to make the best of it and come out of it on top!
