Whatever happened during Superboy’s off-planet summer vacation?

We know he aged faster than anyone on earth, zipped right through puberty and was trapped away from Jor-El. It was a super bad trip, dude. Like who totally wants to know? Well, we do.

Issue #10 of Superman gets us further into the weeds of this one. What happened here, what happened there, that sort of thing. Who punched who? Big panels, lots of angst. Lots of punch. Superboy, Jor-El, and Superman in anguish.

The Unity Saga, part 4, written by Brian Michael Bendis, is a pocket sized story progression. Explosive, visually kaleidoscopic, courtesy of four (four budgets!!) artists and a colourist, it’s a treat to drive thru. Snack on Superman #10 from DC for a few moments and savour its freshness and freely forward momentum.

DC Comics, Superman #10, $3.99 for 19 pages of content. Teen

About Alan Spinney

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
