Thanos’ right-hand man gets a Marvel Legend. #FreeProduct

Ebony Maw first appeared in comics in New Avengers #8 (September 2013). He was one of Thanos elite forces known as the Black Circle. He also appeared in the Avengers: Infinity War movie. Maw had telekinetic abilities.

This figure is based on Maw’s appearance in the movie and it’s quite good.

The body seems like a new one, as I don’t recall ever seeing one like this. He’s very skinny and lanky and is really cool. Lots a great movement but it is similar to the female Marvel Legends as there is no ab crunch. It’s higher up in the upper torso. The rest of the points of articulation is Marvel Legends standard.

The sculpt is really amazing. Since it’s based on the movie version of the character, it really looks like he jumped right from the screen. Lots of nice detail as well. I didn’t see any paint slop either.

Maw comes with the left leg of Thanos. No other accessories, but then he really doesn’t need any.

I really like this figure and he’s the last of the Black Order we were waiting on. Always nice to complete a team!

Many thanks to Hasbro for sending Maw to us to review!

You can find Ebony Maw at retail stores or you can buy directly from Hasbro Pulse.
