Mattel gives us the Rebirth version of Red Robin!

Tim Drake was the third person to become Robin, and in my eyes, he complimented Batman the best. Tim ended renaming himself Red Robin. A way to be his own person and yet still show he is proud of his time as Robin. When the New 52 comics happened at DC Comics, Tim was in a different suit and was in the Teen Titans comic books. Then in Detective Comics #934, Tim returned to the Bat-family with a modified version of his first Robin costume, but still calling himself Red Robin. And before Mattel loses the DC Comics license, we were lucky to get an action figure of Red Robin.

The sculpt is very impressive. It really looks like Eddy Barrows’ art in 3D, though the face does look a little older. Still a nice sculpt with good details. I really like the double “R”s on his chest. The paint apps are nice and clean. I didn’t see any smudges at all.

Red Robin has the points of articulation you expect from a DC Multiverse figure. The cape is a softer plastic and doesn’t hinder any movements. He comes with 2 sets of hands. One fists and one gripping hands. Red Robin comes with his trademark staff and it fits nice and snug in the gripping hands.

I’m not a scale critic but Red Robin is a little shorter than an adult figure. I don’t mind it so much. Just an observation.

Red Robin comes with Killer Croc’s left arm for the Collect and Connect piece.

Overall, I think this a great addition to your action figure, especially if you ended up getting the previous offered Spoiler. Red Robin is out in stores now, so good hunting!
