This year at Comic-Con, DC Collectibles gave us an action figure from the animated feature Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Mikey dressed up as Batman!
The Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was a great event that featured the meeting of 2 comic icons. To celebrate this hit, DC Collectibles gave us the Turtle Michelangelo dressed in Batman’s costume. It was a hilarious scene in the film. Check it out:

This figure is great. I love how sculptor Jonathan Matthews really captured the animation from the film. It really looks great. Especially how Batman’s cowl is just too small for Mikey’s head. This is an amazing sculpt here. Nice and clean paint apps as well. I just love that DC Collectibles used soft goods on the cape. Just adds to the entire effect.I love the “M” on his belt and 2 holsters that are supposed to hold his nunchucks. The problem is the figure doesn’t come with any nunchucks. Not sure why DC Collectibles didn’t include any, but a little bummed out about that.
Mikey has 14 points of articulation, so you can pose him in just about any position. If you look on the side, in between the shell, it looks like was supposed to be an ab crunch, but the shell hinders that. This isn’t a bad thing. It’s just a thing.
Mikey comes with 3 sets of hands: one gripping hands, one pair of thumbs-up, and one pair open hands. The hands interchange easily. There are wrist pegs that the hands just plug into.
For accessories, Mikey comes with a sewer cover that’s painted like a pizza, and a pizza slice. I ended up putting the slice in one of his holsters. It was in the opening scene and it’s once of my son’s favorite moments, so I had to do it for him.
This figure is the first in a GameStop exclusive series. The rest doesn’t come out until December, so this is a great first taste!
Mikey was a Comic-Con exclusive, but some online stores are still selling it. So look around and pick it up while you can. You won’t be disappointed.
