How does Hellboy keep getting himself into these situations! A simple meeting turns into an all-night vigil and a fight to the death.

I love how Hellboy just accepts that something is going to happen and when confronted by 3 demons him and Yad just relax and have a nice wee news while they wait for it all to kick off, its so chilled out that the danger of it doesn’t even come into play it feels just like an everyday annoyance like of course he will have to fight demons as he’s staying overnight.

I also love that the Baba Yaga is still lurking around on the outskirts of the story as if stalking Hellboy waiting for a chance at revenge or getting others to do her bidding and waiting at the sidelines to swoop in. I love the characters that Hellboy meets along the way, those that have been around this kind of thing for far too long that it just becomes part of their routine and nothing fazes them, i love that Yad is more upset that he forgot to take the vodka outside than he is that there are demons waiting to kill them.

Another great story from the B.R.P.D files.
