Flawless Victory!

Mortal Kombat was developed by Midway Games Chicago Studio in 1992. Based off an idea of a game starring Jean Claude Van Damme, which fell through and converted to a fantasy fighting game which was the first to introduce a secret character if the player fulfilled a set of requirements to obtain. Over the years and multiple games, Mortal Kombat continues to bring characters into the mix including the spawn skin

Spawn first appeared in 1992 through Image Comics and was created by the Godfather of comics in the 90s Todd Mcfarlane. What Brady is to football is what Todd is to the comic and toy industry. TV show, movie and currently a new one is rumored to be in the work, games, comics, and now Mortal Kombat 11. Twenty-eight years later we get the best Spawn action figure to date, of course, this is also said this will not be the only Spawn coming to action figure status (Kickstarter is in progress for remastered original Spawn).

What’s in the box. Well, one beautifully design Mortal Kombat 11 character rendition of Spawn. Sword and Mortal Kombat stand are included as well. Even without a huge amount of accessories to talk about, there is an abundance of enjoyment to talk about.

The Verdict. This was my first McFarlane action figure from the Mortal Kombat line and one of the best-designed figures for the series. Every inch of this figure is full of well-detailed parts and accessory. The belt skull, the cape, the multiple points of articulation and the sword which had the classic spawn logo on it as well just screams Finish Him!  Spawn held up to multiple poses and joints still remain tight. This is one you can hand you kid and not worry about a broken 90s leg, “LOL Sorry Todd had to throw that one in for the OG’s”. McFarlane Toys is one of the best companies out there and continues to improve with every figure and license the get. Grab it before its gone and go over and grab the Classic Remastered Spawn figure as well. Follow the link below to support the Kickstarter

Many thanks to McFarlane Toys for letting me take a look at it!
