The Marvel heroes stretch in to join the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu

If you aren’t familiar with the Heroes of Goo Jit Zu, they are one of the hottest selling action figures out there. They combine martial arts, stretching, and animals into this fun playable figure. Each figure is stretchable, but what makes them different from other stretching toys is what they are filled with. Moose Toys has put different types of components in each figure. There are other substances that are mixed with the “goo” that is inside of them. Some have sand, some have little balls and other materials like that. These came out in 2019 and have been a huge hit.

So now to expand the brand, Moose has teamed up with Marvel to give us a line of fun and stretchable action figure.

The new Marvel lines consist of 4 characters: Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Man, and Hulk. No shock there as they are probably the most popular of all the Marvel characters. Unfornatually due to case packing, I didn’t get a Captain America, but that’s OK. That happens but after a day of toy hunting we tracked down a Cap.

Back to topic. These are truly fun toys, with enough of a look that works both in the Marvel Universe and the world of Goo Jit Zu. They so remind me of the Stretch Armstrong figure I grew up with. Spider-Man has nice paint apps like the logo on his back, and his goo is mixed with little spider webs. Iron Man just has regular goo inside of him, but there is really nice metallic paint on him. Hulk has these little “gamma” bubbles inside his goo.

These figures are just so awesome, but if you don’t believe me, check out what Sean thinks of them!

Bottom line, not that Goo Jit Zu needed it, but adding popular Marvel characters was definitely a smart idea. The stretching really adds a lot to the play factor here. And looking at the back of the packaging, it looks like Moose is getting ready for a 2nd wave with Groot included.  Personally I can’t wait!

Many thanks to Moose Toys for letting us take a look at these!
