The Guardians of the Galaxy return to Minimates

In 2019, Marvel ONCE AGAIN relaunched the Guardians of the Galaxy comic series. Written by Donny Cates and drawn by Geoff Shaw, this new team of Guardians consists of some of  Marvel Universe’s heaviest cosmic hitters. Now Diamond Select Toys has given them a series of Minimates.

This series consists of 3 2-packs:  Star-Lord with Adam Warlock, Gamora with Darkhawk, and Cosmic Ghost Rider with Angela. A pretty nice assortment of characters. Hopefully, we will get more characters in the future. I’ve been out of the Minimates game for a while, but it’s nice to see they added a buildable Minimate, Moondragon. You have to buy 3 packs to get the full Moondragon.

All these figures have the 14 points of articulation you get expect from Minimates. As always it’s the paint apps and the deco on these figures that really make it. Plus a lot of accessories. It’s amazing how much Diamond Select just puts into these little 2″ figures that always amazes me.

You can find Marvel Minimates Series 79 Guardians of the Galaxy at your local comic shop and online.

Many thanks to Diamond Select Toys for allowing us to check these out!
