This does exactly what it says on the tin, the legend is back

First off there are a massive amount of variant covers for this and they are very very cool with a range of scenes including a vintage look cover that is awesome. Snake eyes become involved in a battle for the ages against an opponent who has fought literal gods, this will not be an easy task but with his teammates and a gi joe legend he may just make it through.

This is a very heroic heavy narrative with some classic heroic phrases like ” he is too late, but when has that ever stopped him” it’s a little all American but to be fair it really suits the comic and the characters. The fight scenes are what really stand out as they are epic and a real sense of snake eyes doing what snake eyes does best. The fact that he comes up against an opponent that won’t be as easy to take down and has to go against orders to even try brings in a whole new rebel aspect to the story and it should make some really interesting reading as they try to defeat evil while going against the good side too.
