Ludicrous doesn’t even cover the madness of this issue!
How do you interrogate/torture someone who loves it? Elaina is trying to find out but it cant be easy while your subject screams harder, the one who the torture really seems to affect is Otto who can barely contain his anguish. So much is going on in this issue that you get swept up in the zaniness and just forget that there is a story here so when the madness slows for a second its a nice surprise to be reminded. Mixed in with all the crazy some things you just can’t help but agree with, I mean a congress alarm to me sounds like a pretty efficient way of avoiding embarrassing encounters during private times.
Otto is an absolute pleasure to experience as he Brian Blesseds his way through life with nothing cluttering up his mind except the next adventure and his vendetta against the narrator. The artwork and colourings completely compliment the crazy storyline as it gives depth to the over the top world the Ludocrats live in while still making it a perfectly believable setting for them
I can’t wait for the next issue especially the free penultimate pen that isn’t included
