An easy put together Pickachu model!
OK, when I was kid, I was into model building. That usually included glue, paint, and water-based decals. It became a mess and never did look like the package. Then there was the snap-together models. While these got rid of the glue and a little easier to put together, there was still the paint and decals that made a mess.
It’s been years since I put together a model, so they weren’t exactly on my radar. I was familiar with the Gundam line of models but never really made the leap. Then Bandai Spirits came out with Pokemon model kits and I knew my kid was a prime target here. Sean’s a big Pikachu fan, so I picked it up for him.
What does he think?

Personally I can not believe how easy this was to put together. And then the fact there some articulation in the model, that’s great for the perfect pose or play factor. Then there’s the sculpt. This really looks like Pikachu jumped out of my screen.
I really hope Bandai Spirits continues to make more Pokemon character as this is a fun line to get your kid into model building!
