BOOM! Studios today revealed a first look at WYND #5, the final issue of the first arc of the original series by the highly-acclaimed team of writer James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children, Batman) and artist Michael Dialynas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), with letterer Aditya Bidikar (Isola). Tynion IV and Dialynas previously collaborated for three years on the GLAAD Award-winning series The Woods.

It’s Wynd vs. the Bandaged Man! But if Wynd wants to save his friends, he’ll need to accept who he truly is – and the power that comes with being a Weirdblood.

WYND #5 features a main cover illustrated by series artist Michael Dialynas and variant cover art by acclaimed artist Peach Momoko (Batman: The Adventures Continue).

WYND is the newest release from BOOM! Studios’ eponymous imprint, home to critically acclaimed original series, including BRZRKR by Keanu Reeves, Matt Kindt, and Ron Garney; We Only Find Them When They’re Dead by Al Ewing and Simone Di Meo; Seven Secrets by Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Nicuolo; Once & Future by Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora; Faithless by Brian Azzarello and Maria Llovet; The Red Mother by Jeremy Haun and Danny Luckert; and Alienated by Simon Spurrier and Chris Wildgoose. The imprint also publishes popular licensed properties including Dune: House Atreides by Brian Herbert, Kevin J. Anderson, and Dev Pramanik;  Buffy the Vampire Slayer from Jordie Bellaire and David López; Firefly from Greg Pak, Lalit Kumar Sharma & Daniel Bayliss; and the upcoming Mighty Morphin and Power Rangers from Ryan Parrott, Marco Renna and Francesco Mortarino.
