“You can drain my energy any time, Chere. Gambit has plenty.”

Back Story: Gambit (Remy Etienne LeBeau) is a Marvel Comics Character created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Jim Lee and first appeared in  Uncanny X-Men Annual #14 and the Uncanny X-Men #266.

Gambit can mentally create, control, and manipulate kinetic energy. He is also incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in card throwing, hand-to-hand combat, and the use of a bo staff. Gambit is known to charge playing cards and other objects with kinetic energy, using them as explosive projectiles.

What’s in The Box:  Gambit comes with two head sculpts, seven changeable hands including fists, card holding, and bo staff hands. Tons of accessories including Bo staff, charged stack of throwing cards, stack of throwing cards, 2 charged throwing card effects, a singled charged throwing card, and display stand and base. Outfit is a signature trench coat and armor.

The Verdict: It is nice to see some new characters coming along in the Mezco 1:12 Collective universe. Could we see his love interest around the corner? Gambit’s design and overall look was well done. The multiple accessories and points of articulation make for some great posing. He handled hand changes and posing very well. If you are an X-Men fan then you gotta grab this one to add to the line. Can’t wait to see more of the X-Men Universe in the coming months even years. Mezco you did it again putting so much detail and energy into great characters. My only complaint would have like to have seen a light effect card which would have been the cherry on the top.
