“Stash Bash” Filling the Streets with Cosplayers Filmed for “Comic Book Men” on AMC
This Saturday, famed comic shop “Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash” is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with “Stash Bash,” filling Broad Street with hundreds of Jay & Silent Bob cosplayers in an attempt to set a new Guinness Book record. The massive gathering will also be filmed for Season 7 of AMC’s series “Comic Book Men.” Additionally, the mayor of Red Bank, Pasquale Menna, will make a declaration to mark August 5 as “Kevin Smith Day,” and present Kevin with a key to the city.
