Skottie Young’s artwork is even cuter when it’s a plush!

At the Marvel booth this year at Comic-Con, one of the things Marvel was selling were plush characters based on Skottie Young’s art. If you’re not familiar with Skottie Young, he draws cute versions of Marvel characters. You can check out his website at http://skottieyoung.com/. There were several to choose from, but seeing how I was going to get this for my kid I decided on the Groot with Rocket and Spider-Man. His three favorite characters.

I have to say that these are pretty amazing. They have really captured Young’s art. They are both very vibrant and colorful. Very well made too. Nothing cheap here. Groot comes with a little Rocket that permanently and securely attached to his hand. Spider-Man comes with a suction cup so he can hang upside down.

The only problem is, now that I have these 2, I feel the need to search out the rest.

I’m not sure what Marvel’s plans are for these. Currently they are not selling them on their website, but hopefully, they will. More than likely they will be offered at New York Comic Con in October.
