Mezco gives us their interpretation of the first appearance of Batman with the One:12 Collective Ascending Knight
Mezco’s One:12 Collective has been impressive and the Ascending Knight is no exception.
This is actually my second one, as I got the Toy Fair Exclusive back in February. But the grey in the standard version really makes a difference.
Either way, this is an amazing action figure. With over 30 points of articulation, there are about any pose you can put Batman in.
He comes with an alternate Bruce Wayne head. No problem with head swap either.
There are 7 interchangeable hands which also snap on and off very easily.
And then there are the accessories. Batman comes with the grappling gun and 3 different stages of the grapple. One that’s closed. One that’s open and ready to figure. And one that comes with a cable attached to it to simulate it hooking on to something.
6 batarangs that look like shurikens. Nice and small and can be put between his figures.
A wrist-mounted crossbow. Looks really cool.
Finally, something Mezco calls a “bat-brick”. It folds up, but for the life of me, I don’t understand the use of it. Is it a shield?
Anyhow. full cloth costume on this figure which is always awesome. Very well made. Loving the cloth cape too.
Like all the One:12’s, he comes with a base and adjustable post. As well as the post, Batman comes with these flexible posts that have clips on one end. These can be used to shape how you have the cape. Get that true cape is alive thing going on.
Bottom line, this is an awesome figure. It’s an interpretation of Detective Comics #27, but with modern touches to it.
A must need for your collection!
