Three of the stars of the iconic “Star Trek: The Next Generation” series reunite next month as Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis and Denise Crosby of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” have been added to the celebrity roster at the inaugural Wizard World Comic Con Boise, July 13-15 at the Boise Centre. The trio, always popular hits at Wizard World conventions, will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for solo, dual and triple photo ops and conduct interactive Q&A panels, discussing their “Star Trek” franchise experiences and their careers at large.

Spiner, who portrayed “Lt. Commander Data,” Sirtis (“Counselor Deanna Troi”) and Crosby (“Lt. Tasha Yar”) will appear all three days of the event. They will be joined by William Shatner, headliner of the original “Star Trek” series, who will attend on Sunday, as previously announced.

Spiner, who has portrayed the android with superhuman abilities for 15 years in the TV series and subsequent feature films based on the Next Generation iteration of the franchise, has nearly 100 films and TV appearances to his credit. Some of his more notable roles have come in hits like Independence Day (and, 20 years later, the 2016 sequel, Resurgence), “Warehouse 13,” “Fresh Hell” and “Threshold.”

Sirtis, born in London to Greek parents, has appeared in nearly as many shows and movies and dozens of top-level theatrical productions. After roles in Death Wish III opposite Charles Bronson, and Blind Date with Bruce Willis, Sirtis broke through with her “TNG” role. She continues to work at a prolific pace, with six appearances last year and at least five set for 2018 and beyond.

Crosby has been a fixture on screen since the early 1980s, with roles on numerous hit TV shows like and films preceding “TNG.”  Her nearly 100 credits include a recent recurring role in the SHOWTIME series “Ray Donovan” and spots on “Castle,” “The Walking Dead,” “Mad Men” and many others.

They join a Wizard World Comic Con Boise field that already includes Ron Perlman ( Hellboy, “Sons of Anarchy,” Jewel Staite (“Firefly,” “Stargate” Atlantis”), Sean Maher and David Krumholtz (“Firefly,” Serenity), the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” duo of James Marsters (“Smallville”) and Charisma Carpenter (“Angel”), Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”),Samantha Newark (“Jem and the Holograms) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie).

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more.
