DC’s Action #1007 starts off a new storyline, with part one of Leviathan Rises.

This one, again written by Brian Michael Bendis, with art by Steve Epting and colours by Brad Anderson, brings Jimmy Olsen to the forefront of the action. He’s met a new girl! Plus, it seems there’s something explosive happening in Metropolis!

Lois’ life is revealed in a bit more detail too. Some heavy questions get discussed in a ‘waiting for Godot’ scenario.

It’s a great read, actually. Issue 1007 has wonderful art by Epting, and some marvelous double-page spreads.
Pick this one up and enjoy the journey. Well written, engaging and well illustrated!

DC, Action #1007, $3.99 for 19 pages of content. Rated Teen

After a career of graphic design, art direction and copywriting, I still have a passion for words and pictures. I love it when a comic book comes together; the story is tight, and the drawings lead me forward. Art with words... the toughest storytelling technique to get right. Was this comic book worth your money? Let's see!!
