Winter Is Coming!

Just Wow!  McFarlane Toys move into a new direction by increasing their articulation to 22 points per character. The focus is that this will be the new standard for figures moving forward.

Where to start? Well first of all no new info on the DC line as of yet. However, they show off some great upcoming licenses that they acquired alongside their already large field of figures. Mortal Kombat 11 is coming to game consoles this year, and McFarlane is dropping figures Sub Zero and Scorpion as well with the new articulation for better posing. Doom Slayer from Doom, Alduin from Elder Scrolls, Fallout  Power Armor and Fallout suit round out the newest video game characters slated for release.  For the lines already released we see two new figures for Call of Duty in Rictofen, and Frank Woods. Borderlands adds Psycho, Krieg,  and Hands the crew. Hollow Knight was also announced as their newest license no product pictures as of yet. Labrinth’s Jareth(The Goblin King) receives the Mcfarlane treatment adding 2 versions one which includes the troll he kicks in the movie, an obscure but awesome reference from the movie. Announced from Stranger Things 3 is Chief Hopper and Eleven.

One of McFarlane’s newest Acquisition is the Game Of Thrones License. Leading Fight against the Night King is Jon Snow, Arya Stark, and Daenerys Targaryen. Along with these four figures, We will get Drogon and the Ice Dragon Viserion(Killed by The Night King and raised from the dead). Figures will have 22 points of articulation and the dragon will Have 10 points.

The Sports Line continues on although we did not see new figures they will continue to produce new athletes including the Madden line.

Oh Boy! The Fortnite line continues to grow and gets added accessories to McFarlane’s 7-inch line. Again 22 points of articulation which was the standard created by this line is here to say. Along with Multiple new figures announced for this line, we are getting multiple props to go along with the figures such as Glider Pack, Deluxe Glider Pack, QaudCrasher, and the Shopping Cart Pack. The Shopping Cart is made of metal for a realistic feel. Although I do not play the game these are some fun toys I wouldn’t mind playing with or adding to the collection. Role Playing props include: giant sized Party Smasher, This is a beast of a prop highly detailed and reads Slurp on it. Smaller props include Rainbow Smasher and  Bite Mark.

My Hero Academia joins the anime line with characters, Midoriya, Shigaraki, Katsuki Bakugou, and All Might. Highly detailed if you look closely you can See All Might’s eye peeking out of the hand.  Upgrades to articulation were added to Naruto and One Punch man finishes off the Anime Line.

Finally, we got a glimpse of the upcoming Harry Potter line.  Ermine, Ron, and Harry were shown to us all though they are going back to make tweaks on Harry because they were unhappy with the design feeling it wasn’t movie accurate enough. This is a nice change of pace to hear someone so dedicated to accuracy this gives me high hopes for the DC Collectors line.

Thank You Mcfarlane Toys for Inviting us to your booth and showing off your great product.
