The One:12 Collective welcomes the Black Panther to the family

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Black Panther was one of Marvel’s biggest hits. Not just at the box office, but also critical acclaim that resulted in several Oscar nominations including best picture. He was one of break out characters when he appeared in Captian America: Civil War, so is it any real shock for Mezco to give us a One:12 version.

This figure is just awesome. Mezco just continues to hit it out of the park with these. The design seems to be more based on the solo movie, but it looks great. The level of detail and yet just a simple costume. Nice textures too.

Black Panther comes with 4 sets of hands that you can mix and match any way you want to. There is a T’Challa unmasked head. The does look like actor Chadwick Boseman, so it’s a really nice sculpt. And finally, he comes with a spear and a shield as seen in the waterfall battle sequences.

As will all the figures in the One:12 Collective, there is a high level of points of articulation. The only thing that’s restricted is your own imagination. Just remember, this is a high-end action figure and not meant for play like you would with something like a Marvel Legend.

Like all One:12, he comes with a base that has a peg in it for simple posing. You can remove the peg to put in the stand where you can pose him in so many action poses. And of course, the little ziplock bag to keep everything in. You could also keep him in the box to display him, but why would you want to do that?

Bottom line this is an amazing figure. Currently, his is still on the waitlist on the Mezco website, so if you missed him the first time around, you still might be able to get him.  So if you haven’t gotten Black Panther, go out and get him!
