“Jim, Jim, Jim, Jim. Have a seat, Jimbo. We’ll fry together – like two little potato latkes.”

Back Story: 2009 introduced gamers to Batman Arkham Asylum. A third-person view with the now infamous detective vision which tinted the world blue and highlighted objects of interest and need. The Joker takes over the Asylum with the help of Harley Quinn. With its popularity through the roof even being touted as the best superhero game of all time several spinoff games were made.

Mcfarlane Toys received the DC license and have hit the ground running. June will see the release of Batman and The Joker from the Arkham Asylum game. What’s In the Box? Batman comes with Grapnel weapon, bomb canister, open and closed Batarang, stand, and special artwork card with a bio on the back. Joker comes with Blaster, two chattering teeth(open and closed), stand, and special artwork card with bio.

The Verdict. This was my first set of DC characters made by McFarlane Toys and I must say they are pretty impressive. The articulation which I feel they have improved on over the years, the accessories, even the artwork cards with biography was more than I expected. I have to say these are one of my favorite McFarlane made collectibles to date. Posing was fun and I was able to get some great action shots with Batman, and Joker together. Attention to detail down to the Joker’s head on Jokers Belt was spot on. They held up to play and can handle everyday play by the kids. Price point makes this worth picking up at only 19.99 I found these in Target so grab the set before they are gone. Thank You McFarlane Toys for giving us the DC Multiverse heroes that we can enjoy for years to come. Keep them coming and we will keep on buying.
