Hawkeye comes home in a stunning diorama
One of the better comics in the last 10 years had to be the Hawkeye series by Matt Fraction and David Aja. It combined action with humor and action to show what Hawkeye’s life was when he wasn’t being an Avenger. Personally one of my favorite reads. So when Diamon Select Toys came out with a diorama based on it, I knew I had to have it.
This is an impressive sculpt. It’s a nice dynamic pose of Hawkeye just after he shot an arrow, with Lucky pizza dog chasing after it. It’s was designed by Caesar, sculpted by Mat Brouillard, and it kind of looks like Adi Granov’s art. The two things I really love about this sculpt is the carefree look on Hawkeye’s face and Lucky with a piece of pizza in his mouth.
The colors really pop here. Not too much, but it’s a nice balance here. I also like that really string was used for the bowstring.
Bottom line I really like this diorama. I really think it’s a must for your collection.
