Aang-“In my dream, we were right in the middle of the invasion and you stopped to use the bathroom. We die because of your tiny bladder.”

Back Story: The Last Airbender first appeared on the scene in 2005 on television and has since seen much success including a live-action movie and a future announced live-action series. It follows Aang the Airbender avatar who is one of the last of his kind and his friends who must find a way to defeat the fire nation.

Diamond Select Toys has captured these characters in collectible form. with series one being a hit they released multiple series including series 2 which consists of Aang (season one version), Azula. Series 4 includes Aang Final Battle and Sokka. All characters come with multiple accessories which include hands weaponry and both versions of Aang include his glider. Multiple points of articulation make posing as accurate to the show as possible. Along with battle stands and effects, pieces makes for some great reenacting fight scenes as well.

The Verdict: Diamond Select Toys has been right on par with their depictions of classic characters from classic movies and shows. These are right up there with their other lines and I for one am glad they took these characters on. If you are an Avatar fan then these are a must-have for your collection. My favorite out of the bunch is the Final Battle Aang which has the multi-elemental effect of earth, air, water, and fire.  Although my favorite the other characters are no slouches either and should not be forgotten.  These won’t hang around for long so grab them before they are gone. Thank you Diamond Select Toys for making some great stuff and I look forward to many great things from you.
